Wind Gap Area Athletic Association Scholarship

 

Applications for the Pen Argyl Graduating Senior Scholarship are due to the Pen Argyl Area High School Guidance Office by June 1.

 

Applications can be picked up at the Guidance Office anytime throughout the year.  Applicants are judged on three criteria;

Participation in Wind Gap Area Athletic Association Programs

Academic Performance as a student athlete at PAHS

Community Service, especially with Wind Gap Area Athletic Association events

 

Two $250 Scholarships are granted to one male and one female student who are accepted (or pending acceptance) to a 4 year university/college advanced education program.  In the event of insufficient scholarship applications for either gender, the WGAAA Board may make special provisions for the scholarship money.

 

Michele Van Patten Memorial Scholarship

 

The Wind Gap Area Athletic Association is proud to be a joint partner in the Michelle Van Patten Scholarship, presented by the Pen Argyl School District Parent Teachers Association.  This scholarship application and information can be picked up at the Pen Argyl School District Guidance Office.

 

 

Monies for both of these scholarships are provided by the efforts from the Wind Gap “Cruise to the Gap” Car Show .  

Please consider volunteering for the car show committee to help make a difference in the lives of this community’s youth.
