Come learn the fundamentals and techniques that will lead to success on the basketball court. Join Pen Argyl High School’s Head Varsity Coach Michael Frew and his staff, as they instruct boys in grades 4 through 8 in your choice of two, week long sessions. |

About Coach Frew |
|
Michael Frew has been involved with the game of basketball for over twenty years. He was a four-year high school student/athlete at Glen Ridge High School in Essex County New Jersey. As a three year starter at Glen Ridge, Coach Frew won back to back Colonial Hills Conference Championships (96-97 & 97-98) and earned all league honors. Michael continued his basketball career at Moravian College, in Bethlehem, from 1998 – 2002 where he was elected co-captain for his senior campaign. Michael Frew began his coaching career in 2002 at the collegiate level under legendary head coach Jim Walker at Moravian College. He assisted the Greyhounds for five seasons while completing his elementary teaching certification and Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. Coach Frew has worked summer camps at Villanova, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Rider, Lehigh, and Moravian College. He enjoys instructing children of all ages and concentrates on the development of fundamentals and other keys for success in the game of basketball. Green Knight Camp will focus on the skills necessary for success: defense, passing, shooting, dribbling, and rebounding. Coach Frew and his staff will emphasize teamwork and build every camper’s skills in each area. Campers will be exposed to drills used at both the high school and collegiate levels. Varsity players and coaches from Pen Argyl will assist in the development of the campers each day. Green Knight Camp is fully insured and has a certified trainer available. |
